#DAY 1
Went to school early, settled admin stuffs w the other GLs etc.
Skipped assembly,ran about getting the jack knifes/stationery & stuff.
Assembled @ the hall for briefing before setting off for west coast park.
Had treasure hunt, second group to find the file so we get to set off after the first group.

First checkpoint: Singapore poly sports complex
The weather was ultra super hot, so constant reminder to the group to drink more water (I know they find me naggy, but still..)
As usual, second group to reach the checkpoint, had a break while waiting for the others to come.
Chicken rice for lunch, Oh btw Mrs Goh is a chilli monster, she swiped out 3 packs of chilli :O
After lunch, we set of to Tanglin trust school which is located around one-north crest.
Two other groups caught up with us, then headed to science park.
Upon reaching science park we received our next checkpoint.

Second checkpoint: Henderson waves
Walked thru science park to hort park, the same route we had for the night walk.
There were many terrains on that route and w our 3D2N bags, i swear it's not a very nice feeling though.
After the long route, finally started the trail from hort park to henderson waves.
Had to do two suduku puzzles to get our next checkpoint & bbq vouchers.
First in sudoku, so we set off first.

Last checkpoint: Zion road (BB Headquarters)
Walked down henderson waves towards harbourfront>lower delta road>tiong bahru>zion road.
Reached @ 7pm, checked in/briefing and had our dinner while waiting for the last two groups.
Something cropped out during the briefing before dinner, shant talk about it.
Got damn pissed off with ____ .
Totally lose out appetite for dinner so decided to skipped it.
Had night walk after dinner along singapore river, sorta a leisure walk though, a boring one.
Went back ,sec2s went to bathe & had supper, while the GLs bathed during their supper.
So, we had to ensure that all of them sleep before lights out time, before we get to eat our supper.
Had our dinner & supper, tom yam maggie mee/cornetto ice cream/hard boiled egg= AWESOME
Ohya, bernard added green bean soup into his cornetto ice cream, yucks :O
& the conversations about luke's fishball roflmao damn hilarious, -inside story between the gls-
So we were getting bored till we started hearing a frog.
that joker/no life-er tried conmmunicating w the frog, & guess what the frog responded OMFG HAHA.
Stayed around canteen area till 2.30am before we went to rest.

#DAY 2
Woke up @6am, suppose to have a debrief which we missed out on the first night but owell it was cancelled.
So washed up, & gathered everyone for morning pt.
Morning pt was rather boring, had basic stretching followed by a new game created by the GLs.
Had breakfast after that, as usual something happened.
Ganesh & I found out that our time sheet for the second checkpoint was missing so went to clarify it w mr goh, so the thing is that we left the time sheet with him before we set off. Though we were suppose to be the last team to set off but he allowed us to remain as second.
Second thing was that we lost the blue bag which contained the map/compass/first aid kit & vaseline.
So we were the last team to leave the campsite.

First checkpoint: Istana
Clue given: To find something that is tall & lengthy.
Set off for the first checkpoint, halfway thru stopped @ the bus stop as half the group had injuries on them, so we helped w the first aid.
Carried on walking towards orchard & to istana, found out checkpoint and gave a call to Mr.t
Stopped @ dhouby ghaut mrt before setting out for our last checkpoint.
Our Oh-so-nice teacher in charge bought each of us a bottle of green tea, how sweet :)

Second checkpoint: Suntec carrefour
Walked from cathay>chjimes>cityhall>raffles place>suntec.
Halfway thru, Ganesh & I doubled our loads as some of them couldnt handle their bags anymore.
Last group to reach carrefour, each group were given 10min to shop for the bbq food.
So started shopping for the food, our group only spent $40 out of $70, i know we are smart shoppers LOL.
After gathering all the food into the cab, the odysseyians set off together to kallang.
Had our lunch there, requested for a hungry cheer before they get their food.
barely ate 1/4 of the good, totally no appetite :/
We joined group 1 for dragonboating, I swear dragonboating is an awesome sport :D
Had inter-boat dragonboating competition, boat 1 came in first!
After that, rowed back to shore, had a short debrief by our instructors.
So the GLs found out that some of the sec2s were still wet, we filled up all the jerry cans/water bottles and splashed on all of them.
Damn succes i tell you haha, sorry guys it was on purpose LOL
Walked to ganesh: "Eh i damn dry lah"
ganesh: "oh you're dry"
-few minutes later-
Other GLs came running to me & pouring water, fine i was like the most wet amongst all argh -.-
Washed up, changed & bused to sembawang BB & GB campsite.
Had a short debrief before the sec2s went back to their dorms, while the GLs had to start the fire for the bbq pits.
Didnt help out really much, but encountered many problems w starting up the fire, so soon they started adding dry leaves/twigs/branches and paper.
BBQ @ 7pm, didn't really eat much due to my sore throat.
Everything ended around 10pm, followed by a lecture from Mr kenny for the sec2s.
The GLs continued bbqing etc.
Oh we saw a cat, so like Bernard was trying to interact w the cat.
bernard: Meow Meow
mr k: eh bernard that is just a small creature
us: *starts laughing*
sec2s: all turned & stared at us
Super hilarious man, joke lah bernard.
After their lecture, they went up to their bunks to continue w their journal writings while the GLs were bbqing.
Before they came down for their supper @11.15pm, we had a lecture from ___.
Whatever, owell mood changed right after that.
Supper was bbq-ed banana coated chocolate.
Heard from my group that it was nice, didn't get a chance to try it though
After that, sec2 lights out @ 12.30am. while we went to shower.
Debrief & journal writing at the canteen for the GLs.
Started our food party: fruit cocktail/chocolates/lays/garlic bread/marshmallows etc.
So stayed around till 3.30am & cleared up before we went to bed.

#DAY 3
Last day of camp, woked up @ 6.30am.
With my oh-so-sexy voice i could barely talk :( damn saddening right.
Missed out on pt, heard that they had run playing runway scissors/paper/stone.
Owell was doing journal writting.
Breakfast was milo, biscuits & bread as usual.
After bfast, bernard read out a letter written by dinesh.
Some what an encouranging letter for the sec2s regarding odyssey.
Our GL odyssey clap was an epic failure, but owell we tried at least.
Started assigning the jobs for area-cleaning & group ICs.
The leader went to take their bags down & sorted out the group equipment list.
Took a overall group photo & individual group photo before boarding the bus.
Bid farewell w all of them, apparently everyone were hugging one another.
The most touching thing is that when the sec2s said 3 cheers for GLs, damn surprised too.
So we took a bus back to school, packed everything back to the pe room.
Had a pudding YUM-SENG outside general office.
Some went home while clare,weijie,luke,ganesh,avery & I had lunch @pizza hut.
Talked about the camp, ate lunch till around 1.30pm
Walked around city vibe, saw tingkang & he came to say hi to me LOL.
We were getting bored so i suggested going to Mr prata for second lunch/tea time.
Had egg prata/egg thosai/mutton rotijohn, nice food there :D
Stayed till around 5pm, took 189 to weijie's house.
Slacked at the clubhouse, played 21 & taidi, they kept bullying me lah just because they are jealous that i have a sexy voice LOL.
Left @ 6pm, bused home.
Bathed & had dinner.
Slept while using my lappy, how amazing.

Things I'll miss about Odyssey camp 09:
1. I'll miss all the fun we had as GLs
2. I'll miss my oh-so postive & emo group 2, michael jackson :D
3. I'll miss calling Daryl an emo kid LOL
4. I'll miss listening lectures from Mr kenny
5. I'll miss carrying that stinky & heavy MU bag
6. I'll miss the weird things we did during the night
7. I'll miss having food party @ night w the GLs
8. I'll miss having to nag at group2 to drink water
9. I'll miss writing in that black book
10. I'll miss calling sun yi a malaysian though i don't really know him
11. I'll miss doing our group cheer
12. I'll miss everyone & everything from the camp!

Thought it was just a short camp , i could say all the GLs experienced alot of things be it happy or sad. It was also a great experience working w the sec2s :) Odyssey 09, best ever after odyssey 09! Three cheers & three cheers & three cheers for campus!
Can't wait to see 'ya all on monday!
